Citizen's Petition

WHEREAS: The highest and absolute authority over all humanity is the God of Heaven, Who has revealed Himself to humankind through the Bible; and

WHEREAS: Righteous obedience to the Law of God, where man’s opinion conflicts with that law, honors the God of heaven in deference to His authority over the earth; and

WHEREAS: God in His word defines and declares the child in utero as being a live person and His image bearer, and

WHEREAS: The Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade is in direct violation and conflict with God’s holy law, “Thou shalt not murder”; and

WHEREAS: Both the United States Constitution and the Arkansas Constitution affirm the right of individuals to receive due process before being deprived of life; and

WHEREAS: The duty of the lesser magistrate, such as the government of the State of Arkansas, is to protect innocent life, liberty, and property, when those elements are threatened by a magistrate of external position,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the people of Arkansas demand of the Arkansas legislature in the name of God to enact legislation to stop the murder of unborn children; and to ignore and refuse to enforce any and all federal statutes, regulations, executive orders, and court rulings which would deprive an unborn child of the right to life.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That we direct the State Republican Party Chair and the State Republican Executive Committee to consider such repeal–and not other approaches that regulate abortion–as a legislative priority for the 2021 legislative session, or to demand the governor declare an emergency session, and to utilize reasonable Party resources necessary to promote and support its passage.

Jesus is King, whenever man's corrupt laws come into conflict with His divine Law, His Commandments are to be obeyed

Abortion is sin, and the natural outcome of a culture of sin, sex, and death.

The Church is obligated by both duty and compassion to rise up and interpose for the helpless and the oppressed.
